Parsing failures with Workday & Oracle Cloud links
Troubleshooting Β· ATS compatibility
β Known issue
Our parser has limited compatibility with certain Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), specifically Workday and Oracle Cloud job posting URLs. These platforms restrict external access to their job pages, which causes parsing to fail.
How to fix it
If you get a parsing error on a Workday or Oracle Cloud link, use this simple workaround:
- Copy the job title and company name from the original posting.
- Search for the same role on Google and find it on a supported job board such as LinkedIn, Indeed, or Glassdoor, etc..
- 3. Use that alternative URL instead β it will parse successfully.
Why this works
Job boards like LinkedIn and Indeed re-host the same job content in a format our parser can read. The role and its details will be identical β only the source URL changes.
Quick Tip for Verification
If you’re unsure whether you have the right URL, ask yourself:
- Can I see the complete job description on this page?
- Does the page not listing multiple jobs?
- Are the job requirements fully visible?
- Is there an apply button or application form on this page?
If you answered “yes” to these questions, you likely have the correct URL!
